Keerah is not getting on with the younger dog in the household meaning Keerahs owner needs to find her a new home. Below is a write up by her owner whom she is staying with until a new home is found.
“Keerah is 11 months old and a sweet natured girl. She is originally from Bosnia. She has lived with me from 5 months old.
She knows basic commands sit, wait and down. She has been house trained and is learning to walk to heel. Her recall however is very selective and currently she cannot be let off the lead in open spaces.
She has been living with a 12year old male dog and a 16 month male dog. She is fine with the older dog but has issues with the younger dog especially round food which is causing problems. I therefore i have to walk them separately too. She has been well socialised and likes other dogs and plays with them when walking and visiting. She responds well to male humans. She is not good with cats birds or chickens having a strong hunting instinct so she will need a home with secure fencing and no other animals.
She has not really had any contact with children other than out on walks so this is an unknown. I believe she will thrive in an only dog household that can give her one to one love and attention which I believe she needs.”
Please ring the rescue on 07808003152 11-3pm, for a chat if you feel you can offer Keerah a new home. We can then forward on her owners contact details. Viewings can be at her present home or at the rescue but an adoption fee must be paid and paperwork signed at the rescue before she can move homes.
