Taki (name changed from Sora)

Updated: Feb 15

Taki

UPDATE - Taki is a proper cuddle lap dog. She gets on well with the other dogs she is with and would benefit from loving with another dog but it must be submissive and calm as she is skinny and has probably been bottom of the hierarchy when back at the shelter in Bosnia so may have been bullied by other dogs.

She is friendly and is currently learning to walk on a lead and harness. She will need time to get used to this with extra training before being taken out near traffic and all introductions to the outside world must be SLOWLY so she can take everything in at her pace.

Sex - Female Age - 1yr

Taki has travelled from The Bark Ark rescue in Bosnia. Many of the dogs at the shelter have been found living on the streets but all the dogs chosen to come to the UK have been picked as they are friendly towards humans. They may have been owned before and lived in a home but we don't necessarily know what they are like with children or small animals. They may not be fully house trained and will need some time to settle into their new surroundings. They shouldn't be expected, as with any new dog, to be comfortable with being walked for a couple of days. We recommend an escape proof harness, as some of the dogs may have been caught by dog catchers so can be sensitive with anything around their neck when being walked. Please ring the rescue on 07808003152 between 11-3pm. This is the only way we arrange viewings, as we do not reply to texts, emails or admin messages Follow the link below for FREE advice on adopting a foreign dog and help them settle in. We will receive 20% of any further monies raised from anyone buying other courses via this link. https://www.thedogspointofview.com?affiliate=Zd4Wwk
