UPDATE -
Runa is walking out with the other small dogs really well after having some time to gain her confidence with us. She now willingly comes up for a fuss although is a little cautious about having her harness put on initially. She would probably best suit a household with older children who will understand about leaving her alone when she needs time to herself and not following her around the home.
Sex - Female
Age - 1yr
Runa is travelling from The Bark Ark rescue in Bosnia.
Many of the dogs at the shelter have been found living on the streets but all the dogs chosen to come to the UK have been picked as they are friendly towards humans. They may have been owned before and lived in a home but we don't necessarily know what they are like with children or small animals. They may not be fully house trained and will need some time to settle into their new surroundings. They shouldn't be expected, as with any new dog, to be comfortable with being walked for a couple of days.
We recommend an escape proof harness, as some of the dogs may have been caught by dog catchers so can be sensitive with anything around their neck when being walked.
Please ring the rescue on 07808003152 between 11-3pm. This is the only way we arrange viewings, as we do not reply to texts, emails or admin messages.
