MAX HAS FOUND A NEW HOME. WELL DONE MAX:)
"Max is a gorgeous 11 year old, loving golden retriever with a big smile who will provide you with a good few years joy and happiness. He has to leave his home due to the divorce of his current owners who have had him his whole life. He has always been well looked after and has been part of the family. He's never suffered any kind of neglect or abuse. Max will always be excited to see you, loves fuss and attention and will play tug and fetch with you as long as you like. He knows how to sit, give you his paw and will walk with you well on and off the lead. Max is a great guard dog and will bark if there’s anyone outside your home but as soon as he knows they are friendly he will greet them like an old friend. If there’s no-one around he’ll offer companionship and lie beside you quietly. He’ll let you know if he needs feeding or letting out and Max knows not to jump on the furniture or go upstairs unless you ask him to. If you’ve been gone for six minutes Max will act like you’ve been gone for six months and with an excitable bounce and big wag of his tail he’ll bring you as many toys as he can fit in his mouth. Max is an old boy now so whilst he likes kids he needs his own space and needs owners who understand that the constant attention of a young child can be exhausting and frustrating for an older dog.
Max is looking for a friendly, quiet home where he'll get a daily walk, two meals a day and be allowed to live inside as a close member of his family. In exchange Max will love you from the moment he meets you.
