Halfway Home Dog Rescue

Leroy is doing really well, and getting on with all the family. He has become the centre of everyone's attention. Leroy has a mischievous personality but is very kind natured too. It is such a pleasure to go downstairs in the morning, or come back to the house and be greeted by a very happy boy.
He enjoys playing so much and particularly likes to pinch a shoe when he thinks no one is looking!!! Leroy has made some good friends and really likes to have a good play fight with his best friend Billy.
We are all so pleased that we chose to visit the Halfway Home and be able to give a home to Mr Leroy.

Hi My name is Charlie, I was adopted at 4 months of age on June 3rd 2011. I love my new home and my big brother Bruno. I have been a very lucky dog. My new owners were glad they took out pet insurance as I have had a few problems in my first year with hip dysplasia and have had 2 big operations. I am now well on the way to recovery and back to my old self!
CHARLIE has had the 2nd of his hip operations & is doing really well. He is almost back to his normal mischievous self ! He was very demanding in the early days but has brought so much love to our house. We are hoping to resume obedience classes - he certainly needs them! His latest trick is to slip his collar and then as soon as you get near him he runs a bit further away and lies down as if to say 'You can't catch me' Charlie is adorable, he definitely has those lab sad eyes, and we wouldn't swap him for the world. Keep up the good work!
Hi we adopted MOPSY from you on 7 January and wanted to let you know how she's getting on. She's adorable and has settled in lovely. She even snuggles up with out cat. I have forwarded you some photos so you can put them on your website to show people if you like. Thanks once again
Just an update - FREYA is doing very well, 'from little acorns oak trees will grow'. She is eating/drinking/sleeping fine. Still have problems on the lead, but getting better daily. No mess in house on paper for two days now - all toileting done outside, and today I got her in the bathroom shower cubicle and although reluctant at first, she soon got to like the water and smells so sweet now you wouldn't recognise her!!! Ears trimmed/ feet trimmed whilst she slept on the settee (done over a few days) and she cleans herself now. What a beauty she is. We really really love her - she has not got a bad bone in her - best thing we ever did!!
The gorgeous FREYA is an ex puppy farm girl who was surplus to their requirements!! This lovely photo shows you how they can soon enjoy home comforts like all other dogs !!
