This is Tango, sadly he has been brought back after 5 weeks. Tango is a good boy about 8yrs old now he is not great with other dogs. Tango needs a home with no young children and he would love plenty of exercise. Tango travels well in the car. Tango has a favourite toy - have a look HERE at his video, click on his photo
Tango doing agility. Tango also loves going on walks, running after squirrels & then cooling off in the nearest lake. He is eager to please and responds well to squeaky toys, he'd suit an active owner who also enjoys daily adventures. TANGO is available for a DONATION rather than the full adoption fee. Tango is microchipped, fully vaccinated and neutered. Here's another short clip of Tango's favourite game! please CLICK on his PHOTO Please do consider making a reasonable donation to help with these costs, thank you.
WE WOULD LOVE TO FIND TANGO A LOVELY NEW FOREVER HOME - IF YOU CAN HELP HIM PLEASE CONTACT US
Meet MEG she is an ex-puppy farm bassett who was rehomed recently. You maybe saw her and 2 other girlys on our website recently. All 3 bassets have found lovely new homes but we do have some more ex-puppy farm dogs looking for homes so you might be interested to read more about them. Puppy farm dogs have lived a very different life to normal pet dogs - they are often very scared of normal things like going in a house or a car, and can be frightened of people. Ideally they are best in a home with another dog to show them the ropes or where someone is around most of the time. See the lovely updates from Meg's new mum below
1st update - We just wanted to let you know that the Basset we fetched from you last Saturday is settling in beautifully, she is still extremely nervous but every day she is getting better. We haven’t had any accidents indoors, she goes into the garden with our other dogs and does the business. We’ll bring her to see you when it’s your open day and we were so pleased to see that the last basset girl had been reserved. Once again we love having Meg living with us
2nd Update from Meg's new Mum - I know I sound like a proud mum but I wish you could see her when we come in the door from the school run she is so excited she barks and throws herself about and she is eating so much better as well now. Sorry about going on but we love her so much I could talk all day about her.
Puppy farms dogs need time and patience to settle into a home life but they are also very rewarding too
